The youth voice is the youth representation you place

Emmanuel Wabwire is a public servant, husband to his lovely wife Mrs. Edna Kanyesigye Wabwire, father, and brother to many siblings and friends. He is the CEO and Executive Director of Faraja Africa Foundation and Social Enterprises, a Gold Award-DoEIA holder, and a passionate African leader from his youth. He is also a humanitarian who loves community organizing and is involved with the Uganda Red Cross Society Award, technology, reading, and movies. Above all, he is a God-fearing born-again Christian.

Currently, Emmanuel is serving as the President of the Uganda Christian University Alumni Association. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies from Uganda Christian University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Milan.

Emmanuel has worked in various capacity positions such as CEO of the International Development Students Society (2011-2014), Representative of the African and European Region of the Commonwealth Students Association (2012 – 2015), Guild President of Uganda Christian University (2012-2013), and Secretary of International Affairs, Uganda National Students Association 2013-2014. He has also held other positions such as Focal Person for the Africa Region & Member Partnership and Resources Standing Committee of the Commonwealth Youth Council, Events Manager for the Duke of Edinburgh International Award-Uganda, Chairperson of the Youth UNESCO Uganda National Commission, and Program Manager of UNDEF Young Women Democracy Project. Through his work, he has positively impacted the lives of 1500 young girls and women across Uganda by increasing their participation in Democracy 2015-2016 at CEDA International. Emmanuel believes in being the change he wants to see in the world.

During his time in high school, Emmanuel served in various positions such as Deputy Head Prefect and Chairperson BCK Red Cross Association. He also served as the Butaleja District Ministry of Education Prefect General Secretary.
